MORE THAN 170 motorists were convicted every week in 2012 for driving on defective or even dangerous tyres. CAR OWNERS could be fined if other people drop litter out of their vehicles under new laws approved by peers. The new law would mean the registered owner of a vehicle would face a civil penalty even if they were not responsible for the littering. After a short hiatus, the Subaru WRX STi (once known as the Impreza) is coming back to the UK.
